Exciting News – Congress 2024

Block out your calendars for first week of March 2024 because the next Community Energy Congress is coming your way! We had originally planned for this to happen in 2020, to stick with the three years between Congress events timeline, however as we all know the world had other plans for us all that year.

For the next Congress we are collaborating with our friends at Community Power Agency to pull together this big event. They have been central to the previous two Congress and often advocate alongside us for the betterment of the community energy sector. Join us to ignite change and ensure communities are at the centre of our renewable energy future. (update – this event moved to Sydney, 6 & 7th March as part of the Smart Energy Expo)

The clean energy revolution implicates all sectors which is why our theme is ‘Energising Everyone’. The Congress is for community energy groups, Council staff, State & Federal public servants, electricity retailers, renewable energy developers and anyone interested to work with communities in spearheading a fairer and faster transition.

Congress will be an action packed 2-day affair (with field trips and masterclasses at either end), full of thought provoking discussions, engaging workshops and impactful networking opportunities.
