Help us “Energise Everyone” by coming along and encouraging others to join us as well. After an unprecedented 7-year hiatus due to the challenges posed by COVID-19, it feels timely for the community energy sector to reconvene with our supporters from government and industry.
What will the Congress achieve?
In 2014 we brought the community energy sector together in Australia for the first time.
In 2017 we focused on building our collective capacity by showcasing the community energy projects and groups that were having success and sharing their wisdom.
During COVID we’ve delivered webinars and developed the community energy knowledge hub to help everyone access community energy inspiration. And we are seeing the sector grow with new members every month from around Australia.
2024 will be our chance to consolidate and to ensure our collective voice is heard in the corridors of power. The energy transition is gathering pace, the good folk at Rewiring Australia are having fantastic cut through with the Electrify Everything message.
Many of us believe the good work of community energy groups is essential to a achieve a renewable and just energy future with adequate speed.
